HOME, a 49-meter (160.7ft) superyacht, was meticulously crafted by the renowned Dutch shipyard Heesen in 2017. Built in full aluminum and classified by ABS, it represents a remarkable fusion of Northern European credentials and Italian style. This exceptional vessel showcases the groundbreaking collaboration between Van Oossanen's super-efficient FDHF hull design and hybrid propulsion, resulting in reduced fuel costs, emissions, noise, and vibration.
Designed by Omega Architects, HOME's exteriors exude sophistication, while Cristiano Gatto's minimalist Ibiza-style interiors create a seamless blend between indoor and outdoor spaces. The extensive use of floor-to-ceiling glass and teak decking in the sky lounge enhances the yacht's beach club atmosphere, providing guests with a truly immersive experience.
The sun deck offers ultimate relaxation, featuring sun loungers with privacy glass safety screens. Under the hardtop, a spacious sit-up bar and a lounge area invite social gatherings, and aft, a jacuzzi beckons for indulgence. The upper deck aft provides an open-air dining area shaded by an overhang, along with a sun lounge. Walkaround sidedecks lead to the foredeck, completing the expansive outdoor living areas.
Inside, the main saloon showcases dark hardwood flooring, a relaxed lounge aft, and a formal dining area forward, all flooded with natural light and breathtaking views. The sky lounge offers a cozy ambiance with bean bags, daybeds, and a bar, complemented by the cascading light through the large windows onto the teak decking.
Accommodating up to 12 guests in six cabins, HOME ensures comfort for all. The full-beam main deck owner's suite boasts full-height windows, providing incredible views and ample natural light. It includes a dressing room, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a private office. The lower deck features a full-beam VIP cabin, two double cabins, and two twin cabins, offering family-friendly accommodations. Additionally, the yacht accommodates up to 10 crew members.
Powered by twin 805hp MTU main diesel engines, two generators, and two e-motors, HOME offers four propulsion modes, ranging from hybrid mode, where the generators alone drive the e-motors up to nine knots, to boost mode, achieving a top speed of 16.8 knots. Tenders and toys are conveniently stowed on the foredeck, and a deck crane facilitates their launch. With a maximum range of 2,760 nautical miles and Naiad zero-speed stabilizers ensuring comfort at anchor, HOME guarantees an exceptional cruising experience.
