FOR MORE THAN SIX DECADES, SANLORENZO HAS BUILT A REPUTATION AS ONE OF THE WORLD'S FOREMOST BUILDERS OF MADE-TO-MEASURE SUPERYACHTS. 

Founded in 1958 near Florence under the name Cantieri Navali San Lorenzo by Gianfranco Cecchi and Giuliano Pecchia, the Italian shipyard has always worked in close dialogue with its owners, treating every commission as a singular project rather than a production run. Today headquartered on the river Magra in Ameglia, with further facilities in Viareggio, Massa and its superyacht yard in La Spezia, Sanlorenzo specialises in fibreglass, aluminium and steel yachts from 24 to 74 metres, staying true to its founding belief that no two Sanlorenzo yachts are ever alike.

The yard has expanded decisively into the superyacht segment, culminating in the 74-metre 74Steel, its largest yacht yet, fitted with an in-house diesel-electric hybrid system developed together with Siemens Energy. Signature to the larger Steel range are the vast fold-out beach clubs opening to the sea on either side, now instantly recognisable as a Sanlorenzo hallmark. The yard's SX line pioneered the crossover concept, pairing an open, light-filled interior with panoramic sea views, while its expansive stern platforms double as tender garages and lounging decks alike, the calling cards of a shipyard that continues to define what a modern custom superyacht can be.
