Daycruisers with large outboard engines have been en vogue for some time - and Bavaria Yachtbau now also has a strong presence in this segment. With the Vida 33, the shipyard from Giebelstadt/Bavaria is delivering a very advanced model that is already wowing the boating press. Drettmann Yachts, northern German dealer for Bavaria motorboats, has already placed a demonstration model at its own quay in Bremen-Hemelingen. Albert Drettmann: "You simply have to experience the Vida 33 in person. And thanks to our infrastructure, customers can, after all, cast off directly at the Drettmann headquarters for test drives on the river Weser."
The Bavaria Vida 33 is built in an open version and a version with a hardtop. Together with the sporty hull design with recessed hull windows, this results in the dynamically elegant silhouette of the Bavaria Vida 33. The foredeck also offers two layout options. There is a choice between a flat foredeck with space for a generous sun lounger and a lounge area in the bow with a cocktail table and room for up to six people.
The Bavaria Yachts R&D team devoted a lot of time to designing the extremely spacious cockpit - the result is a maximum of possible uses. The L-shaped bench seat with large cockpit table to starboard is an inviting place for lunch. In just a few steps, it can be transformed into a large sun lounger for relaxing and enjoying the sun. An excellently equipped wet bar on the port side in the cockpit with refrigerator, gas stove, sink, much work surface and storage space is ready for the preparation of the drinks and meals on board. And for bathing pleasure, the Vida 33 offers an optional hydraulically lowerable bathing platform."On a boat of this size, I have never seen such a large and multifunctional cockpit," says Albert Drettmann. "Anyone looking for maximum space on a ten-meter boat should take a close look at the Vida 33."
By the way, given its size, the Bavaria Vida 33 is also suitable as a comfortable weekender: below deck, the owner and company will find a spacious double berth, which can also be used as a sitting area. The spacious bathroom with designer fittings below deck is the perfect place to prepare for a chic shore excursion.
The steering position of the Vida 33 offers driving pleasure and full control: two nine-inch displays provide a good overview of the navigation and all systems on board. Maneuvering is child's play with the joystick controls and is a delight every time the boat is docked. Powerful propulsion is provided by Mercury outboard engines with a choice of 2 x 150, 2 x 200, 2 x 250 or 2 x 300 hp. In terms of performance, up to 40 knots are possible with the largest V8 engines, which also hang on Drettmann's demonstration boat. Albert Drettmann: "The Vida is tremendous fun and handles extremely well in the water, even at high speeds. It conveys a high feeling of safety throughout. I can only encourage any interested customer to come and see for themselves. Demand is high."
The equipment and decoration of the demonstration boat can of course not only be changed in subsequent models and adapted to the owner's individual wishes.
