Until Sunday: two Bandidos in Cannes

Bremen yacht specialist displays two compact Explorers at the Cannes Yachting Festival. The company will also be on hand to advise on models from various shipyards.

After two years of abstinence, the Cannes Yachting Festival on the French Mediterranean coast is in full swing and will run until September 12. This fair is considered one of the most important events worldwide for shipyards and brokers who sell and produce boats and yachts between 15 and 35 meters in length. Some 430 exhibits have docked in the two ports on the Croisette, the Vieux Port and the Port Canto. Adapted from the last edition in September 2019, the sailing and brokerage yachts dock at the Port Canto and the motor yachts at the venerable Vieux Port. The first days of the show were exceptionally well attended, the atmosphere among exhibitors and guests excellent. Drettmann Yachts, for example, was able to sell a Majesty 100 on the very first day of the fair. Claudia Drettmann: "A really great show start for us. We congratulate the owner on this beautiful yacht, which he will soon be able to take delivery of."

The Bremen yacht specialists have also moored two explorer yachts in Port Canto. One is a 23.60-meter Bandido 75, the other a 27.90-meter Bandido 90. Both yachts were developed and built under the direction of Drettmann Yachts and are now looking for a new owner. "The condition of both yachts is excellent," said Albert Drettmann. "Anyone looking for a compact explorer will be right at home with both the smaller and larger Bandido. "

The Bandido 75 in this case dates from 2009, displaces 105 tons and has four cabins for eight guests. Two MAN engines with 412 kilowatts each are installed in the engine room; the interior design can be described as timeless and elegant. The Bandido 90, which is around four meters longer, was built in 2008 but underwent a very extensive refit last year. It displaces 215 tons, is powered by two 809-kilowatt MAN engines and has a very bright and modern interior. Four cabins also accommodate eight guests.

At the same time, Drettmann Yachts also looks after customers interested in a yacht from Benetti, Palumbo, Rosetti, Sanlorenzo or Gulf Craft. Claudia Drettmann comments, "We have maintained close relationships with various shipyards for many years and are pleased to be able to show our many prospective customers the vessels of these brands in the water." Among others, Gulf Craft has put a Majesty 100 and a Majesty 120 on the Vieux Port superyacht Extension, Benetti is showing a Montepanfilo and the highly successful Oasis 40, and Sanlorenzo is showing the stylish SX series and the SD126. "It's a very interesting show with spectacular exhibits," said Claudia Drettmann.
