The Gulf Craft shipyard is pushing the pace: only one year after the hull was removed from the mould, the shipyard launched its first Majesty 120, offering one of the shortest delivery times worldwide in this category.
Drettmann Yachts from Bremen, European distributor for Gulf Craft, is already looking forward to the new model. CEO Albert Drettmann says: "120 feet is a wonderful yacht size for the Mediterranean. We are already looking forward to showing the yacht to our registered clients.“
After the Dubai International Boat Show has been postponed from March to November (24 -28 November), viewings and seatrials with the Majesty 120 can currently take place in Dubai. Albert Drettmann: „This can be combined very efficiently with a visit to the shipyard.“
The exterior of the Majesty 120 shows sleek lines developed by Gulf Crafts own design team. Behind the look is an asymmetrical layout with five cabins for up to eleven guests and voluminous salons and lounges. As with the Majestys 140 and 175, Gulf Craft hired Italian designer Christiano Gatto to design the interior of the three-decker. He prescribed the Majesty 120 a very bright, minimalist interior that will appeal to many European customers. Claudia Drettmann: "With Christiano Gatto, Gulf Craft has an excellent designer on board whose work many of our customers appreciate.“
A further highlight is hidden in the technical equipment: the shipyard almost completely dispensed with hydraulic systems and replaced them with electric ones. This leads to fewer maintenance intervals and reduces noise, which results in significantly higher comfort for owners and guests.
The 37-meter-long and 8.10-meter-wide Majesty 120 is powered by two MTU diesel engines, each producing 2600 hp. The draft is two meters and the volume of the yacht 290 gross tons. Fuel tanks with a capacity of approxemately 25,000 liters ensure a good range.
