Exclusive Galeon on sale

Drettmann Yachts currently lists a very interesting Galeon 440 which is the perfect motoryacht for the upcoming season.

After the season is before the season: Although nearly all boats and yachts have been made winterproof - at least in north of Europe - it is worth taking a look at spring 2020. If the acquisition of a new yacht is on your agenda, the brokerage portfolio of Drettmann Yachts just lists some very interesting models. A Galeon 440, for example, has just arrived in Bremen-Hemelingen and offers an excellent price-performance ratio in the category between 13 and 15 metres in length.

The sporty designed and 13.50 meter long Weekender combines perfect proportions with a powerful performance. Thanks to Volvo Penta engines with 320 Kilowatt each, the Galeon 440 reaches a top speed of over 30 knots. Excellent workmanship and generous volume are two other key features of the flybridge yacht.

Light leather and dark woods dominate the interior. The saloon with an integrated helm position is flooded with daylight through the large windows; below deck the shipyard installed three cabins with a maximum of seven berths. Two bathrooms, one exclusively for the owner couple, complete the equipment here.

Upstairs, on the flybridge, the owner or captain has a good visibility, an important asset in busy and tight marinas. Sun loungers, a refrigerator and a seating area ensure the well-being of the guests.

Galeon has an excellent reputation among boat owners as well as in the B2B scene. Galeon currently produces around 40 models between 4.20 and 25 metres in length at the highest level. The resale value of Galeon boats and yachts is also very stable due to the convincing development of the brand.

Albert Drettmann, CEO of Drettmann Yachts, says: "The Galeon 440 is a perfect all-rounder for a successful boating holiday or just for an afternoon in the next bay. You can also travel quickly and, thanks to the construction, you are very safe in rough water."

The equipment of this Galeon 440 includes a bow and stern thruster, trim tabs, a navigation package from Raymarine, an Allpa generator (6 kVA), two Webasto heaters (2 x 5.5 kW), a yacht controller for easy mooring and numerous spray hoods.

The 13.50 metre long yacht can be visited at the Drettmann headquarters in Bremen-Hemelingen and, of course, be tested on the Weser river.

About Drettmann Yachts:

Drettmann was founded in 1970 in Germany and is a family-owned company that concentrates on the construction and sale of boats and yachts. Under the direction of Drettmann International, a total of 1500 newbuildings with lengths of up to 55 metres were built; in the 49-year history of the company, around 10,000 boats and yachts were sold.

In 2017 Drettmann expanded its portfolio as the exclusive sales partner of the Gulf Craft shipyard for a large part of Europe, Russia and the Ukraine and in 2019 became the North German dealer for motor boats of the Bavaria shipyard - two further important steps towards expansion for the Bremen-based company. www.drettmann.com
