Drettmann Yachts sells another Majesty 100

Bremen yacht experts have won another customer for a Majesty 100, with number 17 to be built entirely under Drettmann management.

It is well known that the Majesty 100 is an extremely successful yacht model in the portfolio of the Gulf Craft shipyard in the United Arab Emirates. After all, Drettmann Yachts has already sold several examples of the almost 32-metre-long format to German and Russian customers. Most recently, the Bremen yacht experts sold build number 17 of the Majesty 100. "The customer has been visiting us at the Cannes Yachting Festival for several years and has now 'put his money where his mouth is', so to speak. He will use the yacht privately with his family and lay up in the south of France," Albert Drettmann comments on the successful development. Incidentally, the owner comes from Luxembourg and is transferring from a Ferretti 850, for which Drettmann Yachts is now looking for a new interested customer.

First launched in 2017, the Majesty 100 is 31.70 meters long, 7.10 meters wide and has a draught of 1.70 meters. Her displacement is around 123 tones, her fuel capacity 15,700 liters. With two MAN engines, each with 1,900 hp, the Majesty 100 reaches a maximum speed of over 20 knots and is thus quite swift. At a reduced speed of twelve knots, she has a respectable range of 1,500 nautical miles, which is more than sufficient for Mediterranean cruising.

In addition to the standard folding balconies on both sides of the aft deck, the floor-to-ceiling glazing in the saloon of the main deck and the sky lounge on the upper deck, the Majesty 100 can be completely customized in terms of interior. Both the layout and the decoration of all rooms can be designed according to the owner's personal preferences. Claudia Drettmann: "The client of build number 17 will work out the interior and the technical equipment together with us in our Bremen headquarters and showroom - as we have already done with the Majesty’s sold before. Together with him, we will also design a yacht that will inspire him."

Parallel to Gulf Craft's top-seller Majesty 100, Drettmann Yachts sold two yachts of 35 and 38 meters, which will be built at Italian shipyards, in the wake of the Cannes and Monaco fairs. For both formats, the Bremen-based company will offer its complete new-build service, which ranges from drawing up the contract to the specification and design of the interior to after-sales support. Claudia Drettmann: "Both owners are putting their yachting experience in our hands. After all, with our decades of experience, this is one of our strengths."
