Eight Elegance yachts in eight weeks

Drettmann Yachts from Bremen experienced two very special sales months.

"That was quite extraordinary", Albert Drettmann, CEO of Drettmann Yachts, also had to state. Within eight weeks he and his team sold eight Elegance yachts between 54 and 90 feet. Five buyers switched from their previous Elegance models to a larger format and three changed brands – amongst other from Galeon and Neptunus. Almost all of them went to owners from Northern Germany.

In detail, the models were a 27.40 m long Elegance 90 with four cabins, an engine power of 2648 kW, a 21.00 m long Elegance 68 (2720 kW), three 20.20 m long Elegance 64 (2000 kW), a 19.30 m long Elegance 60 Fly (1600 kW), an Elegance 60 Open (1600 kW) and a 16.50 m long Elegance 54 (1030 kW).

All yachts were built at the Horizon shipyard in Taiwan under the direction and supervision of Drettmann Yachts.

The Elegance 90 was given an elaborate refit by Drettmann Yachts in Bremen before heading for San Remo, its new home port. Claudia Drettmann, Co-CEO of the Bremen yacht experts, says: "Whether it's just the replacement of a few cushions or a complete conversion; we have every option here to adapt the yachts to the needs of the new owners". The boss herself is the first contact person after having equipped numerous Bandido and Elegance yachts in the past.

Drettmann Yachts even offers a complete carefree package. "We organise land transports, transfer captains, offer manoeuvre coaching, find the right insurance and even fill the refrigerator for the maiden voyage," says Claudia Drettmann. Customers would appreciate this service; it is not without reason that many owners would not only buy only one boat or yacht from Drettmann.
