FOUNDED IN 1987 IN TAIWAN, HORIZON YACHTS HAS GROWN INTO ASIA'S LEADING LUXURY YACHT BUILDER AND ONE OF THE LARGEST IN THE WORLD.  

Established in Kaohsiung by naval architect John Lu together with Gong Shan Chiai and Cheng Shun Hui, the Horizon Group today comprises four specialised facilities across the city, including in-house composite engineering, design and CNC milling departments, employing some 900 craftsmen and engineers. Building semi-custom motor yachts from roughly 18 to 40 metres, Horizon has delivered more than 940 yachts worldwide across its Fast Displacement (FD), Elegance (E) and Power Catamaran series, backed by proprietary technologies such as its 6D vacuum infusion process and High Performance Piercing Bow.

Horizon's Fast Displacement series continues to evolve, most recently with the FD100 Skyline, a reshaped, more streamlined take on the tri-deck FD100 featuring a bespoke black radar arch and the model's first open galley layout, alongside sustained demand for the tri-deck FD100. Combining broad-beam volume with floor-to-ceiling glazing and Horizon's high-volume hull design, the yard has built a loyal following of second, third and fourth-time owners drawn to its build quality, customisation and long-range comfort.
