FOUNDED IN 1982 IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, GULF CRAFT HAS GROWN INTO ONE OF THE WORLD'S TOP TEN SUPERYACHT BUILDERS.
The Alshaali brothers, together with Dr Mohammed Hamdan, began with small fibreglass craft before entering the luxury segment in 1992. The shipyard's Majesty Yachts division, launched in 2003, has since delivered more than 10,000 vessels in total from Gulf Craft's manufacturing base in Umm Al Quwain and Ajman, and a further facility in the Maldives. With naval architects and designers drawn from across Europe and beyond, Majesty yachts range from 18 to 54 metres, led by the 54-metre Majesty 175, the largest composite semi-production superyacht in the world.
The Majesty range has expanded rapidly, with the bestselling 32-metre Majesty 100 Terrace and the 45-metre Majesty 145, which offers a rare six-cabin layout for her size, among its recent additions. A 49-metre Majesty 160 joins the line-up beneath the flagship 175, underlining Gulf Craft's position as the Middle East's leading yacht builder and a fast-growing name in the global superyacht market.
