FOUNDED IN 1854 ON THE LIGURIAN COAST, BAGLIETTO IS ONE OF THE OLDEST ACTIVE SHIPYARDS IN ITALY.  

The yard traces its history from Pietro Baglietto's first small craft and racing vessels, including one built for Pope Leo XIII in 1888, through decades as a builder of pioneering fast military vessels for the Italian Navy. Under the ownership of the Gavio Group since 2012, Baglietto builds exclusively in aluminium and steel from its historic Varazze site and its superyacht yard in La Spezia, producing custom and semi-custom motor yachts from 35 to over 60 metres.

The shipyard's DOM and T-Line series carry Baglietto's fast-hull heritage into contemporary superyacht design. The DOM range, from the 35-metre DOM115 to the 47-metre DOM155 flagship, brings a "Roman domus at sea" philosophy of generous volume and wellness-led beach clubs, while the T-Line's open, three-level beach club has become a hallmark of the yard's modern course. With the DOM133 named Best Displacement Motor Yacht at the World Superyacht Awards, and further T60 and DOM155 units in build, Baglietto continues to pair more than 170 years of Italian shipbuilding pedigree with some of the most contemporary custom superyachts on the market.
