This collection features a Limited Edition of only eight pieces—exclusively showcasing original master prints by Sündermann, an acclaimed contemporary artist and director known for his concept-driven minimalism and photographic compositions. His work bridges fine art, filmmaking, and avant-garde fashion, creating visually striking narratives that resonate across disciplines.
Born in Amsterdam and beginning his career in Los Angeles as an assistant to the Coppola family (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now), Sündermann’s cinematic depth enriches his artistic vision. With over 68 awards—including the Gold Lion at Cannes—his work has garnered international recognition and collaborations with icons such as Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Ewan McGregor, Tilda Swinton, Iris van Herpen, Sigur Rós, Robyn, Sylvester Stallone, and many more.
Sündermann employs a diverse toolkit—ranging from photography and analog processes to digital interventions—to craft layered artworks marked by cinematic qualities. His pieces often reference historical events, mythology, and personal stories through a distinctly ultra-contemporary lens. All artworks are created using Lambda C-Type chromogenic prints—a process that captures the organic allure of 1980s analogue film with vivid colors and tactile nostalgia.
