Drettmann shows two Bandidos in Cannes

The yacht specialist from Bremen is displaying two compact Explorers at the Cannes Yachting Festival. They will also be on hand to advise on models from various shipyards.

After two years of abstinence, the Cannes Yachting Festival on the Côte d’Azur will take place again from 7 to 12 September. This show is considered one of the most important events worldwide for shipyards and brokers who sell and produce boats and yachts between 15 and 35 metres in length. Around 430 yachts and 600 exhibitors are expected in the two ports on the Croisette, the Vieux Port and the Port Canto. Based on the last edition in September 2019, the sailing yachts will dock at Port Canto and the motor yachts at the venerable Vieux Port. All well-known brands have regsitered; numerous world premieres have been announced.

Drettmann Yachts from Bremen will of course also be on site and will moor two Explorer yachts. One is a 23.60-metre Bandido 75, the other a 27.90-metre Bandido 90. Both formats were developed and built under the direction of Drettmann Yachts and are now looking for a new owner. "The condition of both yachts is excellent," says Albert Drettmann. "If you are looking for a compact explorer, both the smaller and the larger Bandido are just right. "

The Bandido 75 in this case dates from 2009, displaces 105 tonnes and has four cabins for eight guests. Two MAN engines with 412 kilowatts each are installed in the engine room; the interior design can be described as timeless and elegant. The Bandido 90, which is about four metres longer, was built in 2008 but underwent a very extensive refit last year. It displaces 215 tonnes, is powered by two 809-kilowatt MAN engines and has a very bright and modern interior. Four cabins also accommodate eight guests. Albert Drettmann: "The presentation of the two Bandidos at the Cannes Yachting Festival is already attracting many enquiries. Anyone who would like to make an individual appointment to visit us is best to contact us in the run-up to the fair."

At the same time, Drettmann Yachts will also be looking after customers interested in a yacht from Benetti, Palumbo, Sanlorenzo or Gulf Craft. Claudia Drettmann comments, "We have maintained close relationships with various shipyards for many years and are pleased to be able to show our many prospective customers the vessels of these brands in the water." Among others, Gulf Craft will be showcasing a Majesty 100 and a Majesty 120 at the Vieux Port superyacht Extension, Benetti displays a Montepanfilo and the highly successful Oasis 40 and Sanlorenzo the stylish SX range and the SL96A. "It will be a very interesting show with spectacular exhibits," says Claudia Drettmann.
